Vitamin A can slow down memory decline.

Hippocampal alterations of the brain occur gradually after the age of 50. Brain plasticity decreases with age, which may cause progressive memory loss. According to the results of a recent study, vitamin A is efficient to reverse memory deficits and adult hippocampal neurogenesis alterations. Unlike stress-induced corticosteroids increasing with age that have deleterious consequences on spatial memory and anxiety-like behavior. However, these effects could be corrected by a vitamin A supplementation.
Recommended dietary supplement:
OEMINE A: natural vitamin A associated with blueberries which are also known to have a beneficial effect on memory taken regularly after the age of 50.
