Les molécules actives du desmodium
Le desmodium est caractérisé sur le plan pharmacologique par ses flavonoïdes, molécules qui permettent l’identification de la plante : ce sont la vitéxine et ses dérivés ( isovitexine 2 ” – O-xyloside (1), vitexine 2 ” – O-xyloside (2), vitexine (3) et isovitexine (4 )). C’est pour cela que l’on garantit la plante par le dosage de la vitexine : c’est le reflet de son activité, et surtout on est alors sûr qu’il s’agit de la bonne plante.
